Day 4 in Buenos Aires

Busy day in Buenos Aires today.

Coffee and Media Luna, Hop-On bus, Museum, Cemetery, Pizza, Empanada, Beer, Teatro Colon, Beer,  Bookstore. Insert several walks and Ubers wherever, Shopping, Cooking, Pasta, Beer. Packing for 5am flight.

How about some pictures? I don't promise the order is correct. I've captioned many of them with more information.

After our breakfast of coffee and Media Luna (almost a croissant), we resumed our hop on hop off bus tour. Tickets are good for 24 but we didn't get much out of it the day before with the rain. Several stops along the route we got off at a museum which was quite impressive, especially for the reasonably modern masters like Klimt, Gaugin, Van Gogh, Chagall and others plus a most amazing display of Rodin's sculptures and studies.

We walked through Recoleta to the cemetery which was equally impressive in other ways. It started to rain again so before finding Evita we headed for cover and an Uber to the downtown pizza place a guy from Tennessee recommended. It was good, he said better than the more famous one across the street. We might test that theory when we return to BA.

Next stop on our now walkabout was Teatro Colon but we couldn't do an English tour that day so also might return..

Then after a brief watering break at a craft brewery we ended up at what has been called the most beautiful book store in the world, or 2nd most depending on who you talk to. El Ateneo Grand Splendid. It certainly is grand and splendid but the English section sucks.

After that it became an early night and eating in as our flight to Iguazu was at 5am!
